About London Best Eats — How We Curate
London Best Eats is an independent restaurant guide for the city, curated by Dylan Cormack. The list is hand-picked, updated regularly, and reflects the kind of places we actually want to send friends to — from neighbourhood favourites to Michelin-starred fine dining.
How restaurants are chosen
Every restaurant on the site has been personally selected by Dylan, drawing on first-hand visits, trusted recommendations, critical coverage from sources like the Michelin Guide, Time Out, the Evening Standard and Eater London, and direct contact with chefs and restaurateurs. Restaurants are added or removed as the London dining scene changes — closures, ownership changes and quality drops all lead to removal.
How reviews and descriptions are written
We are transparent about our process. Individual restaurant reviews, descriptions and FAQ answers on this site are drafted with the help of AI tools and then edited and fact-checked by Dylan. Structured data (addresses, opening hours, prices, amenities) is sourced from the restaurants themselves and updated periodically. The editorial opinion — which restaurants are worth including, which make the Top 5, how they are ranked — is human, not AI.
How to get in touch
